Partnering with churches in Oklahoma
Evangelizing boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ
and establishing them in the Word of God and a local church for Christian living.
Ministry Coordinator
Phil Martin served with CEF as a teenager. He spent five summers in the ‘70s teaching boys and girls in 5-Day Clubs® in and around the Tulsa area.
After High School, Phil attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL where he met his wife, Donna, and graduated with a BA in Bible-Theology. After a few years at OSUIT and in the HVAC business, Phil served as the bi-vocational pastor of a church in north Tulsa. For 19 years, Phil served as the Lead Elementary Teacher and a 5th-grade teacher for a Christian school in Tulsa.
During five summers in the early 2000s, he was the principal of John 3:16 Mission’s Summer KIDS Reading Program working with church youth groups, teachers, interns, and at-risk boys and girls. In 2007, he was asked to join the pastoral staff at a large Tulsa church where he served for over eleven years in various capacities. Over the years, Phil has been involved with CEF of Northeast OK in several volunteer capacities.
God has brought Phil full circle. He began ministry work with CEF of Northeast Oklahoma as a teen, and now God has led him back to that same ministry where he serves as the Ministry Coordinator. His job involves mobilizing and equipping individuals and churches to impact unchurched boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish them in the Word of God and a local church for Christian living.
Phil and Donna have three children and three grandchildren.
